Death of Innocence

Did you hear about the London underground bomb blasts? Well now London has joined the list of cities such as Madrid, Bali, Davao, Jakarta and many others. How many more cities are targeted? Only God knows the answer to that. This only shows to us that we can never let our guard down.

A moment of jubiliation....then disaster. But the terrorists struck @ the precise moment. I mean the head of state and the head of the city are outstation. Everyone is exalted by the news of London winning her Olympic bid. They let their guard down for a moment...and BOOM, London's famour Underground gets hit. And London's transport network comes to a grinding halt. So I guess Londoners will be doing alot of walking lately. Just kidding, although this matter is really no joke. Daily lives are affected definitely in numerous ways, London now being in a state of heightened alerteness.

Who did it? Al-Qaeda? Maybe IRA? That we'll soon come to know about. No terrorist organisation would not boast about its "success". But what can come out from it? London can recover. But will lives lost in such incidences be ever recovered. Imagine losing someone you hold dearly in your heart. It will definitely leave an emotional scar. What is the point of killing the elderly, children and women who are not involved in conflicts and wars? Sometimes it really kills me to know that the people involved in such attrocities are people of my religion. Do they truly understand the meaning of God and Religion? Do they know the meaning of humanitiy and humility? Do they ever value human lives?
