Playhouse was fun!!!!! Haha! I went in halfway through when the original father pulled out but it was really cool! Gotto know ppl and really let my hair down..

Story: Indian girl meets Chinese guy. Indian girl falls in love with chinese guy....and the rest can be figured out quite easily...dances...coconut trees, rocks, Indian family, Chinese mother.....COWS!!! I just love the COWS.. they are actual ppl but their costumes were really good very well done!!

Look carefully. The signs are clear. We won't be here in twenty year's time.. trust me....haha just joking. All the talk about armageddon and the end of the world! My thoughts on it....if it comes, just accept it. When it comes...it comes hard i guess!!

The Day Before Yesterday

Looks like I've gotta hit the books sooner or later..sooner the better I figure... studying just got much harder..whoever said M1 was plain sailing, although it's a much easier life as compared to the later years but I hope I can reach my clinical years soon. It's like how a child would yearn to be an adult and how an adult would miss his/ her childhood years.

Oh well! Life in med school is really tough..but when the going gets tough, the tough get going!!! Everyday is a new day. I get to learn something really new but remembering the facts...that's another story. I like physio and anat ( especially Prof Ling) but biochem....I don't really see how much of it will be used clinically. I mean it's really very detailed...the different pathways, enzymes, substrates, favouring conditions. Why can't it be merged with physio so that we can see the clinical relevance of it? Maybe biochem should be scaled down slightly... but I am not the best person to comment on it anyway!!! Haha!! Year 1 and I'm starting to complain already.. Oh well!!

My future plans from now.....

Attack of the 2 nm monster

Hahah...it's been an enduring week. Long days..plus fasting..plus workload..taking a break for today....have to have it once in a while... I believe next week will be worse... another biochem FA, another CVS FA. I just hope CVS FA will be like the one we had for blood...sit in the LT and just nod off for a while.. haha...

Blood Prac was fun though!!!! I was a guinea pig...trying all the stuff before others did...poking myself, bleeding nonstop... Realized that my platelet count is quite low...coz my bleeding time is quite long, longer than the avergage timing... 3min and 30 secs...that quite a time... Actually it's quite true though.. it does take some time for me to stop bleeding... I think it's time to have a change in diet..multivitaming here I come..

Oh and 'Sys Di! Sys di! Sys di!"..how to forget that... that's the only thing I remeber from that lecture...and Prof Ling is great for anat prac...hahaha.... but I miss Prof Wong...very encouraging.. always has something postive to say.."Don't worry so much about it!'"Not to worry!"
